The wall street journal is reporting that Dropbox has raised about $250 million at a valuation of close to $10 billion. This isn't surprising given the insane valuations of startups like Snapchat. Dropbox does have millions of users however, and the man power to move the company beyond syncing and storing data. They will have to avoid serious downtime like they experienced last week though if they plan on moving towards a lucrative business model.
