What you are looking at here is Epic Game's Unreal Engine 1 vs Unreal Engine 4. Unreal 1 was released in 1998 and was considered the peak of computer graphics back in the day. Today we know video games as something completely different, they are fully immersive and are reaching the point where it is tough to draw the line between the digital and the real world. Amazing to think that this change has come in just 15 years.
