The downloading of software or other “executable” files (files with an “.exe” extension) from the internet:
- Don’t install or run it unless you know for sure it is safe, and from a safe known source.
- Be extremely vigilant about the risks of deception before clicking on any link or file download on a web site, or any email attachment.

This includes updates to existing software (such as Java, Adobe Shockwave or Flash). If you believe that your browser or other programs are out of date, please notify TOSS. DO NOT AGREE TO RUN THE UPDATE. TOSS schedules periodic updates to all of our software, but if there is a release that does not coincide with the schedule, we appreciate being informed and will attend to it on behalf of all of the users on our system.
